Wandering around Greenpoint, Brooklyn and capturing it all on film has been something I’ve wanted to do ever since I got Angus, my medium format Hasselblad. It’s been over a year since I started shooting film, and apart from my Motherhood and Family sessions on film, I love taking Angus on trips to the city to capture that vibrancy of city life. This time I chose to visit Greenpoint in Brooklyn. These personal film sessions are always a way for me to learn and improve my photography and to experiment with new film stocks to see if any of those might be appropriate for my Motherhood and Family sessions. Here’s a selection of images both on black and white film (Ilford Hp5 plus) and color (Fujifilm 400h). Now that the weather is finally getting warmer, my hibernating months are behind me 🙂
